1. The chassis of the butt welding machine must be grounded. The purpose of grounding is to prevent accidental electrification of the welding machine shell, which is essential in any case. The butt welding machine can widely use the grounding electrode of the natural grounding body, such as water pipes, metal structures with a reliable connection structure with the earth, etc. However, it is necessary to prohibit flammable and explosive pipes as a natural grounding body. The natural grounding resistance is greater than 4Ω, use an artificial grounding body, otherwise, it may cause electric shock or even fire.
2. The insulation of the welding electrode clamp must be reliable. It is forbidden to use welding pliers without shells to prevent accidents.
3. Personnel must wear gloves when changing welding, and if the clothes are soaked with sweat, do not rely on metal and electric shock.
4. The construction personnel must disconnect the power switch for maintenance of the welding machine, and switch to a clear disconnection interval, and check with an electric pen to ensure that there is a power failure and can be repaired.
5. To move the welding machine, the power supply must be cut off, and it is not allowed to move the welding machine cable by dragging.
6. If the butt welding machine suddenly loses power during work, the power should be cut off immediately to prevent sudden electric shock.
