Working principle of ultrasonic plastic welding machine:

When the ultrasonic waves of the ultrasonic plastic welding machine act on the thermoplastic plastic contact surface, it will generate tens of thousands of high-frequency vibrations per second. This high-frequency vibration with a certain amplitude will transmit the ultrasonic energy to the welding area through the upper weldment. Due to the large acoustic resistance at the weld zone, that is, the interface between the two welds, local high temperature will be generated. Due to the poor thermal conductivity of the plastic, it cannot be distributed in time for a while, and it gathers in the welding area, causing the contact surface of the two plastics to melt rapidly. After a certain pressure is applied, the material is fused into one. When the ultrasonic stops, let the pressure continue for a few seconds to make it solidify and shape, thus forming a strong molecular chain to achieve the purpose of welding. The welding process generally does not exceed one second, and the welding strength can be close to the strength of the raw material.


The main application range of ultrasonic plastic welding machine:

Precautions for the use of ultrasonic plastic welding machine:

1. The welding machine directly uses 220v city power, so the machine body should be properly grounded before power on, and the grounding resistance should be less than 4 ohms.

2. When the mains voltage changes more than 10%, the machine should be equipped with an AC voltage stabilizer to ensure the efficient and safe operation of the welding machine.

3. Do not make the upper welding mold contact the lower welding mold, fixtures and worktables when ultrasonic sound is emitted to avoid damage to the machine parts.

4. The pneumatic system of this machine is made of plastic, and the applied external air source pressure should not be greater than 0.5Mpa, otherwise it will cause explosion or burn-in.
